This was an artwork I made to depict a state of hope. Remember that feeling, the one where you find yourself in a really dire situation, and it seems you don’t really have any plan, or any way out at the tlook, but you’re still hopeful anyway?. Well I attempted to depict that exact feeling in this piece. Its a feeling of hope, but not optimism, a feeling where there seems to be no end in sight, immediate or far, but there’s a glimmer of hope that there’ll be an end. There’s no upbeat feeling or attitude about it, but there’s hope, and its all there is.
I used a combination of colours that I felt conveyed this feeling, greens and yellows. The colors are bright, as hope is a good thing, but I tried to give the girl a slightly saddened and worn out look, still her head is lifted in hope, and it’s all she has, but to get through anything, its all she needs.

This was a piece of art I created called the stage queen. Inspired by a dancer I watched at the theatre. It depicts a woman who flourishes in the spotlight, who loves to captivate the audience anywhere she is, be it in a small room with thirty people, or a grand audience of thousands. She feels all the attention focused on her, she embraces it, and enjoys it. She finds happiness in the applause of strangers, in the wows of their lips, in the noise of their ovations and the awe in their faces. She may be anything else, anywhere else, but the stage is her domain, and she alone is queen.
This was an art piece I did to depict a “happy place”. Its the place everyone has in their lives where they go to forget all their worries and live in the moment. The piece depicts a young girl in a kind of underwater utopia. A place where she loses herself in the beauty of it all, a place where she is happy.
Although the concept is a happy one, I didn’t try to use too many bright colors, but just enough to get the message across.
This was an artwork I did while exploring possible concepts for an art piece with mixed races. Its really straightfoward, two women of different colors, lying in a field with their hair intertwined in a sea of black. Its meaning is simple, harmony between races. I tried to give this artwork a realistic but somehow grim look.
This was the concept art(eBook version) for one of my previous commissioned art. Its supposed to depict the feeling of “being on cloud nine.” Or feeling on top of the world. I used the concept of a girl sitting on a rainbow because I thought it was cute. This art captures a happy feeling, so I tried to use a variety of colors while still using the standard sky colors.
This was an artwork that I’ve always wanted to attempt. It’s based on one of the card titles(in this case, the Queen of hearts) coming out of their cards. This really took me a while as I experimented a lot with colors and concepts. I finally settled on a brown monotone to give the artwork an aged, realistic look as it seemed like a good visual style.

This was an artwork I did to capture a point in many lives. Where they lose ourselves to one too many drinks, especially when they didn’t plan for it. I used quite a number of colors and narrow brushes. I wanted it to have color, but not be too colorful
