While I don’t usually do many cover illustrations, this was one I did for an eBook called being a modernist. The writers wish was for the blouse to be a traditional Nigerian Ankara style. I also did a little throwback to high waisted jeans.
This was a fashion illustration for simply Victoria couture. It’s simple casual style
perfect for a big party or a small get together. It’s Nigerian Ankara, its very pattern heavy so I tried to capture the exact pattern on the fabric that was used.

This was a fashion illustration for short summer dresses. They’re supposed to be a casual everyday wear, versatile. Most of the couture designs are heavily focused on patterns and prints. I tried to capture the exact patterns for the dress and give the illustration a modern look.
This is a concept illustration for an off the shoulder Ankara jumpsuit with simple rose designs. I tried to keep its design modern but still retain its traditional Nigerian touch. Its rose pattern design is simple and bright, which agrees with many Ankara trends. I also tried to make the sketch models pose and anatomy realistic. I also accessorised with classic Nigerian flat sandals to complement to its traditional look.

This was a fashion illustration showing an Ankara blouse with frills. I tried to give the sketch model a realistic pose. I also tried to capture the actual floral print of the blouse and its frilly base. Its style is supposed to be modern and a bit street, but still retain its traditional Ankara nativity.
